Osteopathy during pregnancy can be incredibly beneficial for a mama-to-be and provide immediate relief to many prenatal aches and pains. Osteopathy in pregnancy is a very gentle non-invasive manual therapy that restores balance to the body. The goal of osteopathic treatment during pregnancy is to find relief from discomfort and reduce tension and strain by gently allowing for mobility. An Osteopathic Manual Therapist finds and frees up restrictions within the body, helping to improve body mechanics, so mama and baby can be more comfortable. Prenatal osteopathic treatment involves massage and stretches as well as other gentle techniques used on specifically targeted areas to help improve mobility and find relief. Treatments can also improve baby positioning and prepare for labour. Recommended Posts Allow us to be your guide on this journey.
