SWEDISH MASSAGE

A relaxing registered massage treatment designed to increase circulation using techniques to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. The many benefits of this type of massage include relaxation, muscle tension reduction, and improved circulation which regulates and improves many bodily functions. All of our massages are enjoyed in our beautiful decorated wellness rooms.

I am REALLY enjoying the wellness addition to your business. I've indulged in many massages in this last month of my pregnancy and have been so happy I have.  Every RMT is wonderful and I have walked out feeling much better.

I like how your wellness centre is geared to mamas - before and after labour. I really enjoyed my post natal massage - I felt like my RMT really understood what I needed and where my tension was located.

Why is HST charged on Registered Massage Therapy?

In Canada, before a health profession can be exempted from charging HST the profession must be regulated in a minimum of five (5) provinces.  Registered Massage Therapists are a regulated health profession currently in only three (3) Provinces, Ontario, Newfoundland and British Columbia.  Legislation is in progress in several other provinces at various stages.  These include Alberta, Manitoba and Nova Scotia.

Yoga Mamas is HST-registered under the rules established by the Canadian Government and is therefore required to charge HST.

A Note About yoga Mamas' Cancellation Policies

Please note that we do not offer refunds. Each event/course/training/wellness appt has it's own specific cancellation policy which is listed on each registration page. Please take the time to read these in full prior to registering.  Each event/appointment that we run is in partnership with a practitioner who is focusing their independent career in pre and postnatal health. This is their beautiful livelihood. This is why we have these policies in place. Thank you very much for your understanding. Jamie Kalynuik, Founder of Yoga Mamas
