Sarah Robinson, Holistic Nutritionist

Hi I’m Sarah and I’m a Holistic Nutritionist based in Leslieville, Toronto. I work with women throughout preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum and I believe that proper nutrition is essential for supporting our bodies through these stages. I know how important it can be as a mama to have meals that are quick and straightforward, so I create nutrition plans that are attainable and easy to follow. I always practice with a non-judgmental approach regardless of where a client is at in their wellness journey, and make sure that my nutrition plans are tailored to each individual person and their circumstances.
Adrienne Cote, Holistic Nutritionist

Hello! I’m Adrienne, a Holistic Nutritionist, and Birth Worker. I provide holistic prenatal and postpartum care to help parents thrive during pregnancy and postpartum. This means when we work together we will focus on nutrition and food, supplementation options and your lifestyle and stress levels to support whatever stage of pregnancy or parenthood you are in. As a Mother myself, I understand the importance of practical and easy ways to support our health when we have so little time to devote to it. I work with my clients to not only provide the science behind nutrition but how you can incorporate your plan into your everyday life with ease.
Background
I have worked with pregnant people and families in varying roles for over a decade. Beginning with my time as a Counselor within a non-profit agency working with at-risk pregnant and parenting young women. From my incredibly fulfilling work there, I learned the importance of prenatal and postpartum health care and support, especially for those who are vulnerable. I went on to complete my training and certification as a Prenatal and Postpartum Doula and Birth Educator and continue to work with families providing birth and postpartum support and education. My time spent working with parents and babies in these roles naturally fueled my desire to support them even further. This led me to studying Holistic Nutrition and becoming a Certified Nutrition Practitioner, specializing in Prenatal and Postpartum Care.
Philosophy
I believe that all parents deserve supportive care during these massive life transitions. I know firsthand how demanding and exhausting pregnancy and parenting truly is which means there are no complicated plans or meals. The focus is on easy and accessible guidance while still positively impacting your health. Our time together is a judgement free zone. I want my clients to leave our appointments feeling heard, nurtured, supported and confident in implementing their health plan while finding joy in eating and food.
What to Expect In Your Initial Appointment
Before we meet, you will be emailed an intake form where you will identify your biggest health goals as well as your medical history. At our initial consultation, we will spend an hour talking in depth about your past and current health, your relationship to food and what a typical day of meals looks like. We will chat about your lifestyle, stress levels and what type of movement you love to do. Based on this conversation you will receive an individualized health plan to support your identified goals by email within 24 hours. You will leave the appointment with easy to implement immediate suggestions.
Follow Up Appointments
At our follow up appointment we will spend 30 minutes discussing your current health and what worked (or didn’t) with your health plan. We will reassess and adjust your recommendations as needed. You will receive a follow up mini health plan to reflect your new goals.
