Every Mama who welcomes a baby into her life soon graduates from her trusty purse to a (seemingly bottomless) diaper bag! Among the hair elastics and other little treasures that find their way into her bag, there will always be a handful of essentials that Mama just can’t live without! In our weekly blog series for April, “What’s In My (Diaper) Bag”, we’ve asked three Mamas to share their top 5 diaper bag must-haves.

Alyssa loves to travel, and with a 9 month old no less! We asked Alyssa to share a bit about herself in this fun Q&A, and to reveal the products she and Baby Fynn take on the go:

Our favourite family activity is...

Travel! We took Fynn on his first flight when he was six weeks old and he has a nice little collection of passport stamps already. I get really nervous before we leave (what if he cries nonstop on the plane?), but he's usually a super trooper, and my husband and I always come home feeling more confident as new parents.

My day is not complete without…

1. Love Child Organics snacks

I love that they're {Love Child Organic Snacks} made in Canada, Fynn loves all of them, and I'll admit I've slurped back a few pouches on the run too — the coconut banana one tastes like a Pina Colada!

2. Summer Infant Pacifier Thermometer

If your baby gladly takes a pacifier, this thing is genius - it takes his temperature while he's sucking and it glows green or red for a foolproof reading.

​3. Skip Hop​ Wet/Dry Bag

The Skip Hop Wet/Dry Bag is perfect for carrying soiled clothes or diapers home (like when you're in an awkward poop/barf situation at a place that may frown upon awkward poop/barf situations).

4. Tinted Lip Balm

Mascara and a tinted lip balm in a fun colour like these ones from Wet n Wild always make me feel a lot more put together than I actually am.

5. Baby Sunglasses

Fynn's not the biggest fan of wearing sunglasses, but he hates the sun in his eyes even more. On a bright day he usually tolerates these cute sunglasses pretty well.
