We invite you and your Mama friends to enjoy FREE Mama Group workshops during the month of April. Mama group is a fun drop-in group for new and seasoned mamas (and for papas too). A casual one hour meet up where moms can gather and connect, ask questions, share stories, have fun, laugh and cry. Enjoy complimentary seasonal fresh fruit, assorted nuts and organic tea. Babies and small children are welcome. From April 1st-30th 2019, Mama Group is free. Runs on Tuesdays from 1:15pm - 2:00pm Tuesday April 2: Infant Massage Massage can be a lovely way to soothe and connect with your baby. You already know how to nurture your little one with loving touch - this workshop is intended to build your confidence and add a few moves to your repertoire. I’ll go over a few basic guidelines and then take you through a short sequence. Please bring a towel or receiving blanket. Tuesday April 16: Reflexology For Baby Guest Speaker: Janet Williams, director of Footsteps School of Reflexology Are you interested in looking after the health of your new baby in a natural way? Janet will talk to you about the simple art of Reflexology Therapy, a very safe, hands on healing therapy. Receive education and walk away with a few simple techniques you can use on your baby at home. Babies are extremely sensitive to touch and respond very quickly when there is pressure applied to reflex points in their feet. Most parents do not want to introduce their baby to strong medications, but need to have some tools to help with things like colic, constipation, colds, coughs etc. Reflexology is an effective and harmless treatment you can use to give your baby (and yourself) some relief. Tuesday April 30: Car Seats - Keeping your Little Ones Safe
Guest Speaker: Celia Ambeault, BuckleRite Car Seat Installation & Education Did you know that upward of 90% of car seats are not installed properly? Car seats are complicated, technical, lifesaving devices that require knowledge that isn't provided in prenatal classes. This short introduction to car seats will teach you about some of the most common mistakes I see as a car seat technician. You will have time to ask questions throughout in this workshop. Babies and car seats welcome! Comments are closed.
