Car Seat 102: Car Seats For Toddlers & Children

​Life with a growing baby is exciting, and it also comes with its challenges. 

If you're a parent/guardian who is interested in learning how to safely secure your child into a car seat - then we invite you to join us at our New Car Seat 102 Workshop - at Toronto Yoga Mamas.
 
Car Seats 102 is an essential workshop for those with babies or toddlers! During this workshop you will learn the important technical information that isn't taught in baby classes. Bring your questions and come prepared for an hour of information on topics you probably didn't even know existed! Be empowered by learning how to keep your child safe during the most dangerous activity we do everyday - driving.

Some of the topics covered in this workshop include: 

• The different types of car seats for toddlers and older children
• At what age/size to change to a different type of car seat
• The safest seating position
• The basics of installation and harnessing
• Common mistakes made by caregivers
• How to keep children safely entertained in the car
• The safety of pre-owned seats
• Why car seats expire and how to properly dispose of a car seat

If you have an infant car seat, feel free to bring it along. A handout will be given to everyone in case you need to refer to information later. There will also be time for questions after the presentation.

Quiet babies in arms (usually under 3-4 months old) are welcome to be with you during the workshop, but we ask that you excuse yourself if baby is making noise (happy or otherwise).

Centrally located in Toronto's Leslieville area, The Car Seat 102 Workshop is taught by Celia Ambeault, the founder of BuckleRite a mobile car seat installation company.
