Why You Should Make An Online Acupressure Appointment
Turning A Breech Baby - Breech Position Protocol
Traditional Chinese Medicine has a reliable and non-invasive approach to helping turn breech babies starting from 32 weeks of pregnancy. During this virtual appointment you will be guided on how to do a simple technique using moxibustion, which is a Chinese herb that is burned over a specific acupuncture point, to encourage your baby to turn.
This appointment will also include instruction on supplementary acupressure points suited to your individual constitution. You will be sent an instructional handout and linked to where you can purchase the moxibustion sticks you will need for this protocol.
Acupressure is an easy to use, non-invasive way to prepare the body for labour and promote natural pain management during childbirth.
In this virtual appointment our registered acupuncturist will guide you and your partner through acupressure points to support you in in the last weeks of your pregnancy to help prepare your body for labour. You and your partner will learn how to use acupressure points for helping baby get into a good position, soften the cervix, and gradually stimulate the uterus in simple daily routines you can do from the comfort of your own home.
Instruction on supplementary points to calm the mind will be included as well points to address any other specific concerns you may have. Dietary suggestions will be made based on your individual constitution to support you in your last weeks of pregnancy and aid with postpartum recovery. This virtual appointment is best suited for people who are 36 weeks or later in their pregnancies. Mamas can attend themselves or include and a support person or partner who will be doing the acupressure.
