A Workshop for Supporting Your Baby's Development
Come and join our Occupational Therapist, Katelyn Jutzi in a fun and engaging class where you will learn age-appropriate activities to do with your little one. Meet other parents, make new friends, and learn how to interact with your child as they explore the world around them. This is a great opportunity to bond with your little one while learning important movement patterns such as rolling over and sitting up, practicing tummy time, gaining tips on sleeping, emotional regulation, and building social skills. Don't miss out on this valuable experience for you and your child.

Over 6 weeks you will learn:
Price: $225 (includes cost for two people and baby)

- Motor milestones -what they are and how to support these with your baby
- Starting solids – information on baby led weaning vs. purees, first foods to start with, and setting up the feeding environment for success
- Attachment and Co-regulation – how to support your baby’s nervous system
- Sleep - learn about developmental milestones for sleep and information on sleep training
- Play – babies learn through play. Find out more about developmentally appropriate toys and activities for your little ones.
- Common baby woes – all about teething, gas, digestion and reflux
- Caregiver mental and physical wellness – how do we keep our bodies and mind well during a transition phase in our life

Meet Your Instructor
With a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and over a decade of experience in various healthcare settings, Katelyn is a highly qualified Occupational Therapist based in Toronto. In addition to her role at Yoga Mamas, she also works with a Family Health Team to provide comprehensive support to clients of all ages.
Her passion for pre- and post-natal health and wellbeing was sparked during her first pregnancy in 2017 and inspired her to bring Occupational Therapy services to new parents. With a focus on infant milestones, feeding, play, ergonomics, and mental health, Katelyn is equipped to provide guidance and support to new families. She is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to help parents get the sleep they need. Katelyn takes an approachable and flexible approach to her practice, helping parents engage in the essential activities of pregnancy and parenting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, working out on the Peloton, and baking. |
