RETIRING FAMILY YOGA 4 WEEK SERIES
As our studio gets busier we have made the decision to retire our Family Yoga Class Series. Thank you to all the families who have joined us over the 7 years we have run this programming.

This family yoga class is perfect for young families with children 2 years old and up, babies are welcome but the class is not catered to them. This class promises fun for the whole family. Class is 45 minutes. 

Family Yoga 4 Week Series

Please note this is a set 4 week program, we are unable to accommodate make up classes of any kind.

About Family Yoga: 
Children, parents and even grandparents get to spend quality time together, enjoying a fun and healthy activity. Yoga is a great activity that you can do with your child no matter what age! Partner poses ensure great bonding time. We'll go through poses and play yoga games, all while building confidence, self-esteem, and strong healthy bodies. Children and parents will practice how to focus and centre themselves though breathing and relaxation.

Practicing yoga together helps strengthen the bonds between parents and children, while they support each other and have fun. Family Yoga is especially good for practicing with very young children who otherwise would have a hard time paying attention during a kids only class, but also for older children who still enjoy the practice a lot.

​Family yoga classes are taught in just about the same way as classes for kids.  Families come to the class for two main reasons, one is for the benefit of the kids, whether it's for health and fitness or just for play and fun, and the other is to strengthen the bonds within the family and spend quality time together.

Family yoga is very special because there are not many activities available for parents and kids to do together. It is a rare opportunity for both to observe and learn from each other and a great way to bridge the huge age difference between them. The parents get to learn about the ways their child learns and the way she and he interacts with a group, and the children get to experience their parents as learners as well.
