You will learn five everyday simple techniques to use on your baby daily that will encourage natural development of the body systems, help to calm and relax them and strengthen their immune system.
You will learn about reflexology therapy, what it is, how it works, its benefits, who and what it can help. You will also learn the importance of touch and the connection you can make and sustain with your baby through specific techniques on the feet and hands in a non-invasive way. Babies are extremely sensitive to touch and respond very quickly when there is pressure applied to reflex points in their feet.
Most parents do not want to introduce their baby to strong medications, but need to have some tools to help with things like colic, constipation, colds, coughs etc. Reflexology is an effective and harmless treatment you can use to give your baby (and yourself) some relief. |

Janet Williams, Founder of Footsteps School Of Reflexology
Janet is a registered reflexology therapist, being trained and certified in the UK, and has been practicing and teaching Reflexology Therapy for over twenty years.
In that time she has worked with neo-natal babies, toddlers, teenagers, adults and in palliative care. She brings a wealth of experience to the classes and the many benefits of reflexology. She is passionate about the gentle nature of Reflexology therapy and how the simplicity of touch between mom and baby can be so rewarding. Following her passion, Janet opened Footsteps School of Reflexology in Toronto, which offers a Diploma course in Hand and Foot Reflexology and also one day workshops in business start up and Indian Head Massage in four provinces. Janet continues to be committed to sharing her wealth of knowledge and extensive experience both with her students and while treating her patients. She inspires them all to take control of their own health by adopting an alternative approach to healthcare. Janet continues to work with many women struggling with infertility, women who have reached their due date and want to give birth naturally rather than being induced in hospital and many children with wide ranging challenges. |
