Rejuvenating facial acupuncture is a combination of Gua Sha stone massage on the face with natural serum followed by super fine acupuncture needles on specific points on the face, and additional acupuncture points along the body. Once the needles have been set you will be left to enjoy pure relaxation by candlelight. Your acupuncturist will check in on you periodically and will return near the end of your treatment to remove the needles and close out your service.

Ingrid is a Registered Acupuncturist practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine. She treats a broad array of health issues but has a special interest in reproductive health including fertility, prenatal and postpartum care as well as musculoskeletal pain management and stress relief. With a background in visual arts, Ingrid brings an intuitive and creative sensibility to her practice, and believes deeply in meeting the unique needs of each client. Traditional Chinese Medicine offers a holistic approach to health and Ingrid uses this framework to both treat symptoms and address underlying imbalances to improve overall outcomes. Ingrid’s education includes a diploma from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine, specialized cosmetic acupuncture training and internships at both Six Degrees Community Acupuncture and Living Waters Therapies. How many Rejuvenating Facial Acupuncture treatments does it take to see the results? You will experience the benefits of muscle relaxation of overall calm after the first visit. For long lasting results, we recommend five to ten treatments with your body responding positively with each treatment. Ideally, you would come twice a week for 5 weeks, or weekly for 10 treatments.
What are the benefits of these treatments? Tighter skin, more overall radiance, reduced appearance of wrinkles and puffiness, full body relaxation.
How soon do I see results? It is difficult to determine as it is based on variable lifestyles (i.e if you are dehydrated, lacking sleep etc.), however will notice subtle differences after treatment 1.
