CHILDCARE PROVIDER Part time: Approximately 14 hours per week Start Date: Feb/March 2019
We are a big, bright, and beautiful yoga studio in Leslieville. We are dedicated to offering prenatal and postnatal yoga, wellness and education to our community's mamas and families.
Yoga Mamas is a community of mamas supporting each other through the spirit of yoga and parenting. Our community creates opportunities for mamas to stay connected, build friendships and learn from each other as new parents.
Providing affordableChildcare on-site is just one piece of maintaining the environment of support and accessibility that is cherished here at Toronto Yoga Mamas.
You are a competent, experienced and warm caregiver. You are confident in your ability to multi-task the needs and welfare of multiple children while keeping a cool head. You are intrinsically and enthusiastically motivated to nurture and educate children of all ages. You are comfortable and resourceful when working with young infants.
The role consists of caring for small groups of (maximum four) children for 1 hour long time slots while Mamas are in classes or wellness appointments. We offer childcare services Tuesdays through Thursdays 9am-3pm.Rate of pay is competitive.
Qualifications: - CPR certified - Minimum 1 year Childcare experience (casual or formal) - Current vulnerable sectors police reference check - Parenting, ECE and/or B. Ed. Experience an asset
