What more can we say? We're incredibly grateful, and indebted, to our beautiful, supportive, and engaged, community of Toronto Yoga Mamas 'mamas', babies, and friends.
Every year that Toronto Yoga Mamas is in business marks the celebration of each, and every, one of you - the people who made a dream possible. Toronto Yoga Mamas serves to bring women, families, and little ones together - to meet, learn, relax, take-care, and grow. We seek to be a safe-haven, a sanctuary, and an escape from the hectic pace of the everyday - whether it's late nights at 'the crib' or early morning feedings - we understand the incredible amount of organization, planning, and scheduling, that it takes to simply commit to a yoga class, workshop, or self-care appointment, with our wellness team. The 'candles' on this years 'birthday cake' included: - Integration of Celebration Flags - Offering of our limited-edition 9 Month Pass - A Daily TYM $25 Gift Card Contest draw with a different 'lucky mama' each week day! - Cupcakes and treats Celebrating our 4th birthday this year, we offered the opportunity for everyone to meditate, in class, on something that they felt grateful for in their lives, and many of you chose to write something about the studio and to thank us by writing a kind note on our celebration flags. These white celebration flags are now hanging, throughout the rafters, of our yoga studio and serve as a reminder of the common thread of positive intention that ties each of our dreams, meditations, and commitments, together in this finely knit, interwoven, community of families from near-and-far. Over 4 years Toronto Yoga Mamas has grown from 1 location, to 2. It has flourished from a simple schedule of everyday yoga classes, to a variety of classes, class types, workshops, wellness, education, and community events. Our team has grown in size, and scope, and our Leslieville studio has even grown in size by taking over the bottom floor of the building at 1402 Queen Street East. So thank you. Thank you for making this birthday possible - for fighting traffic, rushing from meetings, committing to your self-care appointment, wiping away baby tears, organizing car pools, packing snacks, organizing strollers, making dates with fellow mamas and just showing up on the mat. For the month of September, our team is continuing to focus on self-care and are committed to helping you, and those around you, get back to their centre and get back to their yoga mats.
