Introducing Childcare at Toronto Yoga Mamas

High quality, inexpensive on-site Childcare is now available for mamas at our Leslieville location.

Last week we welcomed our childcare lead Maggie in piloting our brand new childcare program, and are very excited to see this develop and make our studio even more accessible to our mamas.

Details:

• Childcare costs $6 per hour per child.
• Parents must be on site the entire time their child is in our care
• Childcare runs Tuesdays 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & Thursdays 12:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Our capacity is 5 children so do sign up in advance!​

Who's it for?

• Available to children 4 weeks to 6 years old whose mamas are on-site utilizing our services.
• Second-time mamas attending a prenatal, babies or crawlers class with an older babe needing supervision
• Mums looking for affordable childcare during a solo Vinyasa practice
• Mom or Dad taking advantage of our wellness services.

​Know that your babe is socializing with other babes, acclimating to new spaces and faces, and becoming more comfortable with childcare.

Tips:

• Drop by 10-15 minutes before your class or wellness appointment to ensure you and your baby are comfortable and have everything you need
• Please label things that come into the childcare space with your child to avoid confusion.

 
Especially on hectic mornings, it can be hard to look too far ahead into your day’s routine. If there is something the childcare provider can do to approximate your child’s home routine in our space, please let us know. It makes life easier for babe, staff and mama alike, and lessens the baby’s innate instinct to begin fussing during savasana :)
